EVA & ADELE: MELODY

In ihrer neuen Werkgruppe MELODY widmen sich EVA & ADELE der Beziehung zwischen Figuration und Abstraktion.
Die großformatigen Papierarbeiten entfalten sich wie eine Melodie im Bildraum, geprägt von einem bewussten Spiel zwischen präziser Führung und improvisierter Geste, zwischen konzentrierter Intention und intuitiver Freiheit. Dabei gibt es keine Trennung von Figuration und Abstraktion, Improvisation und Kontrolle. Die Figuration malt sich gleichsam wie eine Melodie zur Abstraktion hin – sie folgt einer inneren Logik, die präzise und doch spielerisch die Formen aufbaut, ohne dabei die „Tonfolge“ des Bildes aus dem Blick zu verlieren.
Die Collage der mit EVA & ADELEs Herzkopflogos versetzten einzelnen Blätter baut ein Raster auf, welches in der ersten Ebene als eine Störung der Bildoberfläche funktioniert und zusammen mit den direkt aus der Tube gedrückten Linien zu einem Bildraum verschmelzt. Der pastose Auftrag erzeugt eine Schichtung von Rhythmus und schafft gleichzeitig eine Gestalt aus „Linien-Tönen". Die Arbeiten sind zugleich stark bewegt und zart verhalten, oszillieren zwischen Dynamik und Ruhe und formen auf diese Weise ein komplexes Bildgedicht, das die Betrachter in einen fließenden, melodischen Raum entführt.
Der Akt des Malens selbst wird zu einem Tanz – eine dynamische, performative Geste, die den Schaffensprozess in die Tradition des Fluxus einreiht. Die Künstlerinnen sind in Bewegung, verschmelzen mit dem Bildträger, und dieser energetische Fluss, der die Lebendigkeit und Spontaneität des Augenblicks einfängt, wird Teil der Kunst. Die Linienführung ist wie eine Choreografie: kraftvoll, lebendig, voller rhythmischer Abfolgen.
Die Werkgruppe MELODY ist eine Hommage an die Melodie des Lebens – an ihre Höhen und Tiefen, an das Scheitern und Siegen, an ihre Momente der Klarheit und des Suchens, und vor allem an die tiefe Verbindung zwischen Menschen und ihrer inneren Melodie.
Nicole Gnesa freut sich sehr, mit MELODY die sechste Einzelausstellung mit Werken von EVA & ADELE in ihrer Galerie in München zeigen zu dürfen. Zeitgleich sind EVA & ADELEs Werke ausgestellt in:

In their new series MELODY, EVA & ADELE explore the relationship between figuration and abstraction.
The large-format paper works unfold like a melody in the pictorial space, characterized by a deliberate interplay between precise lines and improvisational gesture, between focused intention and intuitive freedom. Here, there is no separation between figuration and abstraction, improvisation and control. The figuration almost paints itself, like a melody evolving into abstraction — it follows an internal logic, building the forms with both precision and playfulness, without losing sight of the “sequence of tones” within the image.
The collage of individual sheets, marked with EVA & ADELE’s heart-head logos, creates a grid, which at the first layer functions as a disruption of the surface and, together with the lines pressed directly from the tube, merges into a pictorial space. The impasto application creates layers of rhythm while simultaneously forming a shape out of “line-tones.” The works are both intensely dynamic and subtly restrained, oscillating between movement and stillness, thus forming a complex visual poem that draws the viewer into a flowing, melodic space.
The act of painting itself becomes a dance—a dynamic, performative gesture that aligns the creative process with the Fluxus tradition. The artists are in motion, merging with the canvas, and this energetic flow, capturing the liveliness and spontaneity of the moment, becomes part of the art. The line work is like choreography: powerful, vibrant, and full of rhythmic sequences.
The MELODY series is a homage to the melody of life—its highs and lows, its failures and triumphs, its moments of clarity and searching, and above all, to the deep connection between people and their inner melody.
